Hola Claire-Tara Belle!
Que pasa? I don't speak any of the many dialects of Indian so that's about as creative as I'm getting with my verbage.
So, Mark keeps us fabulously updated on your many excursions from his e-connections at the coconut grove; and now, with a plethera to tell, I'm finally reciprocating.
First off, I'm hooked on HGTV! It's true, I actually applied to be one of their "crafts" people. I'm a craigslist junkie too. I go online, get stuff for free from craigs with my friends truck... and then put my caffeine rushes to work. I got this beautiful desk from craigs for free and am restaining it. I repainted my room, cut down my dad's big bookshelves to a cuter size =} and now i'm working on turning my friends donated coffee table into a filing cabinet. I'm very excited. I'm also getting a job at a hardware store, as a buyer. Go figure.
My other vice has been Texas Justice, which is on right now! This judge is amazing. If they ever come out with a dvd compilation I'm sending it to you... or bringing it with me over (keep your fingers crossed.. and poking at my dad =} heehee). This judge even lets the bailiff ask questions, it's hilarious. It's also filled with fabulous one-liners like, "wait a minute, she sucked up yo' heat and left you with the thermostat! [bang of the mallet] ...that's my rulin'! [wonderment and applause from others awaiting tv-trial]."
You can see how this is a clearly awesome show and so much more necessary to watch than to complete UCB incompletes =] (just teasin' again dad)...
Outside of televised inspirations, I've also been very prolific in my writing, for which I have you to thank. Your letter was so beautiful and calming. And very inspiring. I dedicated my first of a slew of poems that have so followed to you babe, a hobby and passion I am again and again thankful to share with you. I also sent in three poems to the New Yorker (we'll know in a month?).
Alice is also saying "Mehhhhh Meow," which means "hello" in Burmese-Cat. You have not met Alice have you? I shall have to send you pictures because she is absolutely adorable. She kills me. She's got to be the goofiest, most ungraceful cat I've ever seen.
Her hobbies include watching Tigers on Animal Planet and pawing at the TV, chasing imaginary mice, chasing things that rattle between two and five in the morning, licking my hair for me at 6:00am, so I don't have to shower.. and even biting my scalp to get out knots so I don't have to comb =) isn't she a doll. She loves conversations in meow, especially when I come home after a day out. She gives me a run down of the day: meow mehhh meow meow and then meow and then totally meow! Sometimes I get jealous and worried that she'll be a better writer than me. Fortunately I'm the only one of us with a working thumb.
As for the stories of sodomis sex, crack, and rock n' roll... sorry mom and pop, but those are for Claire's eyes only bwahahahahahaaaa!
just kiddin' =P
lots and lots of love Tara-Claira and Mark-e-Markimus,
~Zahra
