From Mark:
It is with both a special sadness and a special joy that I want to
share with you that Clare, Corey and I were honored to witness Tara's
last breath this morning at about 1:45am India time. It was an
absolutely amazing experience, made all the more special by it's
softness and peace. We will write more to describe the air, the wind,
the moon and the quality of Tara's presence as it left her body. But
suffice it to say that it was a blessed event, and continues to be. So
much has happened in this absolutely full and rich day, and we're
utterly exhausted. Expect more soon.
Much Love,
Mark

From Clare:
the best word to describe the past 21 hrs or so is .......... WOW,
simple as that, it was utterly an honour to have been with Tara as she
passed on from us, indeed to have been with her over the past 3 weeks.
Its difficult to speak coherently, to put it into words, the feelings,
emotions, laughs, smiles, sad moments, energy and wonderment that go
into todays beautiful picture of life. so i will have to leave it just
as WOW, and thank-you Tara for every moment. With love Clare

From Corey
As Mark and Clare have both already written, the day has been
incredible and somewhat inexplicable in this state of exhaustion. But
I am struck by the vast ways in which Tara's life has affected the
people who have known her, or have even known of her. My emotions over
the few days I have spent in India have changed wildly, but right now
I'm just feeling thankful for the opportunity to know Tara, who may
have come as close to sainthood as anyone I will ever know.
Love,
Corey

From All
We apologize for our incapacity to provide any more information now.
Please know that there is much more to come, in the form of emails,
conversations, videos, and photographs. For now, please trust that
there was an unbelievable amount of love, devotion, and care expressed
today and the story is still unfolding. We will write more when we
have gotten a little more sleep.
Om Namah Sivaya.
Here is a photo of Tara about 10 minutes before she died. She was
very, very peacefully sleeping.
